My phone died last night. It took me by surprise, as it's health was never in question. I poked and prodded at it, hoping to breathe the spark of life back into it. No go. I'm sorry to say, the Cingular 8525 (HTC Hermes) is dead.
I've been told by another 8525 owner than this is a known defect and I should RMA it. Even so, it's going to take them at least a day to ship me a new one. I don't want to go outside without my 3G capable device. There's no internet out there! :(
I guess I've got to brave the Caltrain without internet access today. Ugh.
