I like to poke through my stats page to see how things are going occassionally. After I took down the gallery, hits to the dropped a bit. Looks like some people found the stash in ~sektie though.
I was amused to find this post about me on some random forums. I've never heard of bluegartrls before. Well, uh, thanks for mentioning me, I guess. FWIW, most of the pics in that directory are from my teenage years. I always publish new ones on the main site. Although honestly, I'd rather be known as "that chick that knows FreeBSD really well" instead of "that chick I'd like to stick my penis in."
You want to be respected for what you know and for what you do. I think that's what everybody wants.
But what you should keep in mind is that the vast majority of (male) readers of your blog don't know you in real life. The image they got of you is assembled from all those little bits of information you post on the net.
You write about guys you date. About your OhMiBod. You post sexy pics of yourself in your no-longer-existing gallery. Some pictures show you "dressed" up just like a sex-slave:

Where is some proof of your technical knowledge? Some *-HOWTO, something about useful programs you coded? A link to an Open Source project you take part in? Some information about what you do on your job?
I really do believe you that you ARE a techie and that you DO have a good knowledge about FreeBSD. But what I say is: you are being "judged" by the information you post. You want another image? Simply change the way you present yourself on the net...
